What can I expect?

What Can I Expect During the Worship Service?
Our Sunday worship service lasts about 60 minutes and is designed to help you connect with God through worship, prayer, and the teaching of His Word.

Each service begins with a few church announcements, followed by worship led by our worship ministry. Song lyrics are displayed on the screens, so you're welcome to sing along or simply listen and reflect—whatever feels most comfortable for you.

After a time of worship, we spend time in prayer and receive our offering before one of our pastors shares a practical, Bible-centered message. The service concludes with a final song and a brief benediction as we are sent out to live our faith throughout the week.

Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month following the sermon. All who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ are welcome to participate.
What is the worship music like?
Our worship music is a blend of traditional hymns and modern worship songs, creating a service that brings together generations as we worship God. Whether you enjoy timeless classics or contemporary praise music, you'll find a meaningful mix of both.

Most Sundays, worship is led by our praise band, with vocals and instrumentalists guiding the congregation in singing together. Throughout the year, you'll also experience special worship services featuring our orchestra and choir, as well as creative presentations such as full dramas with actors that help bring the message of the Gospel to life in a memorable way.

No matter the style or presentation, our desire is to point people to Jesus and create opportunities for everyone to worship Him together.
What is the culture like at CLCBC?
At CLCBC, you'll find a warm, welcoming church family with plenty of friendly smiles. Our Sunday mornings are casual, relaxed, and full of opportunities to connect. Come as you are—we're glad you're here!

Between services, join us for Coffee & Conversation in the gym. Enjoy complimentary coffee and treats while getting to know others. Our high school students also gather here to grab a snack, hang out with friends, and then walk together to the Caleb House for their 10:30 AM Sunday School class.

If you're new, stop by the Welcome Desk in the foyer. We'd love to meet you! Fill out a Connect Card and receive a special welcome gift as our way of saying thanks for visiting.
What about my kids?
We believe kids should have a blast learning about Jesus every single week! At Kid's Cove, your children's safety is our top priority. Because we use a secure check-in system, we recommend arriving about 10 minutes early on your first visit so our team can help get your family registered. Kid's Cove is offered during our 9:00 AM service for infants through 5th grade.
What about my Jr High or High School Student(s)?
Our Junior High Sunday School meets on Sundays at 9:00 am. This class features a structured three-year curriculum cycle designed to help 6th, 7th, and 8th graders grow into lifelong followers of Jesus. Through interactive teaching and meaningful discussion, students explore fundamental Bible doctrines, trace the good news of the Gospel from Genesis to Revelation, and learn how to faithfully follow Christ in a rapidly changing world.

For our older students, the Senior High Sunday School meets Sundays at 10:30 AM in the Caleb House with teacher Curt Christensen. This year, they will dive into TrueU: Does God Exist?, a Focus on the Family apologetics series that equips high schoolers with the practical tools they need to examine the evidence for their faith and confidently defend their beliefs.

We encourage H.S. students to join their parents for the 9:00 AM worship service, meet up with friends for Coffee & Conversation in the gym at 10:00 AM, and then walk over to the Caleb House together for their 10:30 AM Sunday School Class.
