What can I expect?
How long is a CLCBC Worship service?
On average, a CLCBC worship service is about 65 minutes in length. Service begins with announcements, followed by the CLCBC worship team leading the church in music - song lyrics are displayed on the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the initial musical portion of service is complete, we have a prayer which is typically followed by an offertory. One of our pastors will then share a message from God's Word. Closing our service will be a final song of response and a benediction.
Communion is observed on the first Sunday of each month following the sermon and is available to all who believe in Jesus Christ.
What's the culture like at CLCBC?
Sunday's at CLCBC are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
Coffee and snacks are available between services in the gym, located behind the sanctuary and this can afford you an opportunity to meet people and engage in conversation.
We have gift bags for new guests available at the Visitor Oasis. To receive one, all it takes is for you to fill out our connection card and stop by the Oasis after service.
What about my kids?
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week - and at CLCBC's Kid's Cove, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Kid's Cove program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the Kid's Cove experience. Kid's Cove is offered at the 9:00am service for kids ages infant through Grade 5.
What about my middle school and high school students?
We highly value our Junior and Senior high students! We offer 3 different Sunday Equip classes at 9am to empower our students to grow in, & live out, their faith. The 6th & 7th grade class explores the themes of the Bible & equips students to know how to study the Bible. The 8th grade class grounds students in essential Christian doctrines with an emphasis on living out what we believe. High School students have a deep and impactful worldview class (the Truth Project). Let us know if your student would like to participate in any of these sessions. There is also an Equip class for Parents –(Parents Together) which meets at the 9am time as well. We encourage these students and families to engage in the Worship service at 10:30am if able.
