This Sunday, we are looking at the Palm Sunday account as recorded in the Gospel of Matthew 21:1-11. The title of the message is: The True King: Should You Choose to Receive Him. As Jesus entered Jerusalem on that first Palm Sunday, he was welcomed by the crowds as a victorious and conquering king. Yet, when Jesus did not meet their expectations, they called for His crucifixion that same week. We will explore how it’s possible to worship Jesus to be what we want Him to be rather than who He really is. Let’s receive Jesus as the true King that He presents Himself to be.
