Community Groups

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:15

Community Groups at CLCBC seek to create a relational environment where believers can learn the Word, grow in knowledge of God, learn how to make disciples, and learn how to follow Jesus. The following groups are currently meeting on Sunday mornings.
Student Groups
Foundation: Studying the Bible
6th & 7th Grade Students | Sundays from Sept through May at 9:00am in the Wharf | This class includes a survey of the Bible timeline, trains the students to look for the key themes in the Bible, and teaches critical study methods like contextual analysis, identifying the different genres in the Bible, & more!
Christian Doctrine Certified
8th Grade Students | Sundays from Sept. through May at 9:00am in CR-A | This is similar to a confirmation class where students will be discovering what Scripture teaches about the central doctrines of the faith. Most of all, our goal is for them to know Christ and make Him known as they grow in community with each other.
High School Class (9th-12th Grade)
High School Students | Sundays from Sept. through May at 10:30am in the Caleb House | Our ultimate goal is not simply to gain knowledge, but to look upon the face of God and to be transformed in the process.
Adult Groups
Gather & Grow
Sundays at 10:30am in the Gym | Gather & Grow is an adult community that studies the Bible, usually a book, character study or survey. No class during the month of August.
Emotionally Healthy Relationships
Sundays at 10:30am in CR-B | with Pastor John Engberg, Beginning Sunday, September 28th for 8 weeks.
